The Armed Security Certificate program teaches  basic and advanced skills needed to perform optimally and excel in the field of armed security. This top-level security training class is taught by experienced AGB instructors at our state-of-the-art training center located at 7545 S. Western Ave. in Chicago. The certificate meets the training requirements necessary to apply for a 230 Firearms Certification through the Illinois Department of Finance and Professional Regulations (IDFPR).

The class takes approximately 20 hours to complete and is taught over three days.  Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and the third day will be announced by the instructor. After registration, you will receive information for your class attendance the business day prior to the coures' begining.  

This course includes an in-person session for range qualifications. You will need a gun for the range training. If you do not have one, please bring $20 to cover the rental fee.
